Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has announced that the chalk marks, during the 2020 policy meeting admissions to DEGREE, NIGERIA CERTIFICATE IN EDUCATION and NATIONAL DIPLOMA -- AWARDING INSTITUTIONS.

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has introduced cut-off points for this year's admission into universities,polytechnics,colleges of education and monotechnics. .
The minimal cut off marks indicated by JAMB for admissions to universities, polytechnics, colleges of education and innovation business are 160, 120, 100 and 100 respectively.

The managing of the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has introduced the cut-off marks to be utilized for the 2020/2021 academic session admission exercise. JAMB Cut-off marks for diploma -- awarding institutions is 160. See additional information below.

JAMB Cut-off Marks
The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has introduced cut-off points with this year's admission into universities,polytechnics,colleges of education and monotechnics. .
The minimal cut off marks suggested by JAMB for admissions into universities, polytechnics, colleges of education and innovation business are 160, 120, 100 and 100 respectively.
Universities -- 160
Polytechnics -- 120
Faculties of Education -- 100
Innovation Enterprise -- 100
Institutions are, however, at liberty to increase their cut off marks for admission over the minimum determined by JAMB.

All these decisions were taken in the 2020 Mixed Policy Meetings on Admissions into Tertiary Institutions in Nigeria.
JAMB Registrar, Prof. Is-haq Oloyede said associations, together with the decision, aren't to go under the minimum cut-off points adopted in the meeting for admissions.
According to him,"What JAMB has done is to urge; We shall only determine the minimum, whatever you decide as your entrance cut-off mark is the choice.

The board will ensure that criterion set by Senate are strictly adhered to by the associations' admission officers without any altering of goal post in the middle of the entry exercise.
