The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has introduced cut-off points for this year's admission into universities,polytechnics,colleges of education and monotechnics. .
The minimal cut off marks indicated by JAMB for admissions to universities, polytechnics, colleges of education and innovation business are 160, 120, 100 and 100 respectively.

The management of the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has introduced the cut-off marks to be utilized for its 2020/2021 academic session entrance exercise. JAMB Cut-off marks for diploma -- awarding associations is 160. See additional information below.

JAMB Cut-off Marks
The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has introduced cut-off points for this year's admission into universities,polytechnics,colleges of education and monotechnics. .
The minimal cut off marks suggested by JAMB for admissions in universities, polytechnics, colleges of education and innovation business are 160, 120, 100 and 100 respectively.
Universities -- 160
Polytechnics -- 120
Faculties of Education -- 100
Innovation Enterprise -- 100
Institutions are, but at liberty to increase their cut off marks for entrance above the minimum set by JAMB.

All these decisions were taken in the 2020 Combined Policy Meetings on Admissions into Tertiary Institutions in Nigeria.
JAMB Registrar, Prof. Is-haq Oloyede said institutions, together with the decision, aren't to go below the minimum cut-off points adopted at the meeting for admissions.
According to him,"What JAMB has done is to urge; We shall only determine the minimum, whatever you decide as your admission cut-off indicate is the choice.

The board will guarantee that criterion set by Senate are strictly adhered to by the institutions' admission officers and no shifting of goal post in the center of the admission exercise.
