The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has released cut-off points with this year's entry into universities,polytechnics,colleges of education and monotechnics. .
The minimal cut off marks suggested by JAMB for admissions to universities, polytechnics, colleges of education and innovation enterprise are 160, 120, 100 and 100 respectively.

The management of the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has introduced the cut-off marks to be used for its 2020/2021 academic session admission exercise. JAMB Cut-off marks for degree -- awarding institutions is 160. See additional information below.

JAMB Cut-off Marks
The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has released cut-off points for this year's admission into universities,polytechnics,colleges of education and monotechnics. .
The minimal cut off marks indicated by JAMB for admissions into universities, polytechnics, colleges of education and innovation business are 160, 120, 100 and 100 respectively.
Universities -- 160
Polytechnics -- 120
Colleges of Education -- 100
Innovation Enterprise -- 100
Institutions are, however, at liberty to raise their cut off marks for entrance above the minimum determined by JAMB.
All these decisions were taken in the 2020 Combined Policy Meetings on Admissions into Tertiary Institutions in Nigeria.
JAMB Registrar, Prof. Is-haq Oloyede stated institutions, together with the conclusion, aren't to go below the minimum cut-off points adopted in the meeting for admissions.
According to him,"What JAMB has done is to urge; We shall only determine the minimal, whatever you determine as your entrance cut-off indicate is your choice.

The board will ensure that criterion set by Senate are strictly adhered to by the associations' admission officers and no altering of goal place in the middle of the admission exercise.
