There's a large difference between problem solving and positivity using creative thinking. Creative thinking and problem solving are actually two distinct things. They are not related. In reality, the very best leaders in the company world are problem solvers and creative thinkers.
It may seem like a no brainer. Problem solving and positivity are really the exact same thing. It would be easy to call problem solving and positivity the identical thing as well. But from all the various soft skills they might have taken, it's good communicating, problem solving and imagination which were deemed the most beneficial. In your interviews or application, you wish to ensure that you're giving evidence that you are able to communicate efficiently with others.
Some people may call creative thinking a'soft ability.' Some creative people actually think the worst ideas, but they then put those ideas into words and say them aloud. They may be creative in painting or sketching, but maybe not too much with problem solving and positivity. All these individuals can understand how to express their ideas, but not the best way to implement them into a problem solving strategy. However, that's fine since these folks are problem solvers first rather than creative thinkers.
Problem solving and creativity is where the activity occurs. The problem solver is thinking'out of the box' and coming up with innovative answers to problems. Creativity is making up new ideas and ways of problem solving. When you see someone with a unique and creative insight in a problem, it is likely a problem solver. Someone who sees something that everyone else does not see and comes up with a distinctive solution.
And, that's what problem solvers do. They consider things from different angles and they think outside the box. Problem solvers are creative problem solvers, not problem-solving machines. They use their creativity to find the answers and they use their instinct to discover the solutions also.
