The more ya know. ** I have the precise same sensation about the Robin Wood Tarot. It's fine. The imagery is pretty clear, the art work isn't terrible. However the deck feels dead to me. *** Examples consist of the and my current review of the Wildwood Tarot. **** Please note: I strongly discourage coating your Tarot cards in butter.
Do not butter your decks. More Details , on the other hand, is fine. Like this: Like Packing ... Related.
The Druid, Craft Tarot combines the nature spiritualities of Wicca and Druidry in a beautiful set of large-size cards. Created by popular Druids Philip and Stephanie Carr-Gomm and artist Will Worthington, who likewise produced the Druid Animal Oracle. Buy and Enjoy This Set at: Purchase and Enjoy This Set at: Druid, Craft Tarot Evaluation by Cerulean I was stunned with the humanity in this deck.
I think the format records the richness of the beautiful colors. I like the method the character of each card is caught in a minute in time-- not like a portrait or a stage set, but as if they were doing an everyday act. When I revealed others who like to read with Celtic-theme decks, they took 2 hands to handle each card and a minute each to look at each card.
Will Worthington has done this level of work with the Druid Animal Oracle also. I also like using gorgeous sky backdrops, natural forest settings and animals that occupy the scenes. I've checked out some people feel more connected to this deck due to the fact that their heritage and structure come from European roots.
I do not see the Druid, Craft characters necessarily as Pagan Europeans from the British Isles-- I see them as humans following a naturalistic course that warmly interacts with their setting. A beautiful tarot deck can do this for others, no matter what heritage they spring from. I like the book and think that the writing and thinking behind the deck reveals an outstanding system.
I continue to find worth in my Hallowquest Arthurian deck and books. For me, the Druid, Craft goes another action beyond these other decks. I like the introductory seven pages, then the next 7 pages of description. The Court Cards and numbered minors are laid out as the Outer Mysteries according to the Wheel layout on page 13 of the book.
