1. Ketchup: You can either buy a bottle of organic ketchup or prepare your own. Spices can be used to transform regular ketchup into something unusual, such as jerk, cumin, or curry-flavored ketchup. It would be ideal to serve it alongside your burgers and fries.
2. Mustard: One of my favorite condiments is mustard. I enjoy spicy foods, and Dijon mustard in particular is excellent. It's my go-to condiment for vegan hot dogs, sausages, and a variety of sandwiches.
It's an important component of many salad dressings, including Agave-Mustard Dressing and this Potato Noodle and Green Bean Salad with Chive-Dijon Vinaigrette.
Another method to use mustard is to combine it with lemon juice and maple syrup to produce a sauce or glaze for vegetables, such as this recipe for Roasted Brussels Sprouts with Mustard-Maple Glaze.
3. Vegan Mayonnaise: My favorite condiment is mayonnaise. Instead of ketchup, I like to dip my fries in it. Vegan mayonnaise is available in a variety of brands, or you can make your own, such as this Creamy Low-Fat Vegan Mayonnaise with No Extracted Oil. Because mayonnaise is so bland on its own, it's a great canvas for flavors like Sriracha and chimichurri.
4. Soy Sauce: Soy sauce and its thicker, richer relative tamari are the most versatile condiments you can keep in your cabinet. Soy sauce is essential in many recipes, sauces, and marinades, in addition to being added to already cooked food.
Make Garlic Sauce, Sweet and Sour Sauce, saute sauces, and hoisin sauce using it. Make these Dim Sum Soy Sauce Chow Mein Noodles or other Chinese meals such as General Tso's Tofu or Pomegranate Sweet and Sour Tempeh.
Soy sauce isn't just for Chinese food; soaking tofu in a mixture of soy sauce and water is enough to give tremendous flavor, like in these Tofu Scallops or this Soy Maple Tempeh Bowl.
5. Tahini: It is prepared from roasted sesame seeds crushed into a creamy butter, and it's quite simple to make Homemade Tahini. Some people eat it plain, but it's also wonderful combined into hummus, salad dressings, dips, and sauces.
6. Hot Sauce: Here's the most important thing, which is hot sauce. Fortunately, you can easily make your own, such as this Greatest Homemade Hot Sauce, Raw Hot Sauce, and even the Sriracha.
Not only does it add flavor and spice to dishes, but it can also be used to make other delectable sauces such as Chinese BBQ Sauce, Vegan "Fish" Sauce, and Spicy Vegan Cheese Sauce. The most significant thing you can make with hot sauce is, of course, Buffalo sauce.
