The two tasks are called: SR305 Manhole Rehabilitation Job CN2019-02 and Raab Park, Swanson Way NE, and 11th Ave NE CIPP Lining Task CN2019-03. Last winter the City successfully completed stage 1 of the Central Interceptor Rehab task which consisted of re-lining the main drain trunkline leaving the City along SR305.
This project extends between Tollefson along SR305 to Johnson Road, and along Johnson Rd through undeveloped residential or commercial property to the Deer Run community. Thirty 5 drain manholes will be fixed up as part of this job. Work along SR305 will be completed throughout the night in order to adhere to WSDOT allowing and residents will not experience a disturbance to sewer services as an outcome of this job.
Concrete sewage systems in the area of Raab Park, Swanson Method NE, and 11th Ave NE will be lined with Treated In Place Pipeline or CIPP Lining. The idea is to slip a liner into the existing drain, expand it, and cure it in location thereby producing a pipeline within a pipe.
This lining approach is also known as trenchless drain repair work as it is does not require the street to be wrecked to change the existing sewer. The CIPP Lining Project will line approximately 1,860 direct feet of concrete pipeline on 11th Opportunity, Raab Park, and Swanson Way. The contractor has 40 working days to complete the work. FINN HILL ROAD SHARED USAGE PATH The Finn Hill Road Shared Use Course job will build around 4,300 feet of 10-ft large shared use course with 2-ft gravel shoulders on NW Finn Hill Road and Rhododendron Lane NW between Olhava Method NW and Vinland Elementary School in Poulsbo.
