To submit the complement of instruments, Lennox played a borrowed Oberheim OB-X for continual string sounds. Although it is one of the most successful tunes of the synth-pop category of the '80s, it could not reach Number 1, held up by the effective ballad of "Total Eclipse of the Heart" by Bonnie Tyler.
The single debuted at number 90 and slowly reduced up the chart. By August, the single had actually reached second and stayed there for 4 weeks before "Sweet Dreams" took the primary area. The music video starts with a fist pounding on a table, with the cam panning up to reveal Lennox in a boardroom, with images of a Saturn V launch forecasted on a screen behind her, which are later replaced by a shot of a crowd strolling down a street. Stewart is revealed typing on a computer (in fact an MCS drum computer system).
Stewart is next revealed playing cello in a field. The scene then returns to the conference room, with Lennox and Stewart resting on the table, and a cow strolling around them. Stewart is shown again typing on the computer system, with the cow chewing something right beside him. Check For Updates cuts to the duo in a field, with a herd of cows, and Stewart still typing.
