2 Palestinians Killed in Clashes with Israeli Soldiers, One Woman
Two Palestinians, including a woman from the West Bank, were killed Thursday by Israeli soldiers in two separate conflicts, Palestinian sources said.
Alaa Zayoud, 22, was killed by Israeli soldiers in clashes in the village of Burqin near the northern West Bank city of Jenin, according to Palestinian medics and Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ).
Clashes broke out in the village between Palestinian youths and Israeli soldiers after Israeli army troops stormed the village on Thursday (30/9) morning to arrest two Palestinians for carrying out attacks against Israel.
The attack was part of an Israeli plan to dismantle a military network belonging to the Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas).
Shot Killed
Palestinian daftar togel online medical sources also said a 30-year-old Palestinian woman from the village of Qabatya west of Jenin was killed by Israeli soldiers in the old city in East Jerusalem.
In a press statement, Israeli police said the woman was shot dead when she tried to stab an Israeli police officer in the old city.
Tensions in the West Bank escalated after five Palestinian militants were killed last week in a shootout with Israeli soldiers.
