This set was likewise one of the very first sets to have a brown colored horse. In 1988, the 6054 Forestmen's Hideout was released; it was a little tree hideout that housed 2 Forestmen.
This hideout was a deserted castle covered with trees, vines and leaves, where it was surrounded by a moat. It included five Forestmen, and a Lion Knight paddling a raft. In 1990, the last initial Forestmen hideout set, 6071 Forestmen's Crossing, was launched. This set had an unique baseplate of a little stream printed on it with white dots marked on the studs to suggest where to put the pieces.
This was the only set to include a Forestwoman minifigure and was just released in The United States and Canada. A few Forestmen were consisted of in other small non-Forestmen Castle sets, such as 6103 Castle Mini Figures. At Full Article of 1992, the Forestmen were stopped as a faction, together with the Crusaders.
