Real estate agent. com stated it is still checking out the problem and did not have a reaction by press time. Real, Tracs sends its listings to both Zillow and Trulia through syndication platforms List, Hub and Point2, which are both owned by realtor. com operator Move Inc. Realtor. com, thanks to its distinct position as the main site of the National Association of Realtors, receives a direct feed from nearly all of the nation's MLSs, including Genuine, Tracs.
At press time, List, Center was still looking into whether Zillow would break its List, Hub contract by dropping the pared-down listings. White stated Real, Tracs and List, Center are presently working on an offer to give brokers the capability to establish a complete feed of active listing information to Zillow.
Jay Bradshaw, a broker with Lebanon, Tennessee-based Cumberland Realty, says he first discovered that Zillow may drop his company's listings when a representative from the website called him on Wednesday. Upon knowing of This Is Cool , Bradshaw immediately contacted Real, Tracs to see about finding a way to keep his listings on Zillow, and found out that he can sign a one-page form from the MLS to begin sending a total version of his listings to the website.
Bradshaw states he prefers that Zillow display the restricted variation of his listings with a link back to his website, so that his company can draw in more consumers. But he 'd rather have full variations of his firm's listings on Zillow than none at all. Brokers who choose to set up direct feeds to Zillow through Real, Tracs will enter of "Zillow Pro for Brokers" program.
If Real, Tracs signed up with Zillow's MLS direct-feed program, the Zillow Partnership Platform, all brokerages would get a link back to their website on their listings, but not to their home information pages, Woolley stated. Since press time on Thursday, Zillow, Trulia and real estate agent. com each showed listings received through the limited feed differently.
Each of the portals showed truncated noting descriptions on the listing, but just realtor. com had a full suite of 20 images. Zillow had four pictures and Trulia had just Google Street View images.
