Gently daub your sponge in your color (that's bittersweet chocolate above) and sponge on the plate initially to ensure you don't glop it on. Then, gently press and lift, NO SWIPING, turning your sponge in the air each time prior to returning down to sponge again. That will give a non-uniform look and will not end up with the very stampy appearance that actually bad synthetic granite counter tops do.
Go light, you can always include more color later. Utilize your smaller sized sponge to daub in the corners, doing the exact same rotating strategy each time to avoid the stampy look. I also used using a small stiff kids paintbrush, you know, the kind that come with the low-cost paint sets, to also add where I felt the little sponge was "too huge".
It's by Recollections and is the color Espresso. It is beautiful! I sprayed it extremely liberally after the first color while still wet so it would stick well. I also sprayed it a bit towards the end so ensure that it would still appear after including all the other colors.
Mix a tiny bit of black acrylic paint with a tiny bit of water and dip a tooth brush in it and run your thumb over the toothbrush to flick best little stone/granite flecks all over your countertop. so this photo brings up a lot. This was my FIRST attempt at recreating what I believed I wanted for an ended up productwith the veining and the additional metal and everything. I even followed the authorities "Giani" instructions that I saw online and did just a small area at a time.

Did you see this? asked Chevy, and he absolutely agreedit just looked ugly. BUT DON'T CONCERN IF THIS TAKES PLACE TO YOU! The repair is a simple one! Just paint over all of it with the black craft paint! Easy breezy.
